Explore Polish beautiful lakes on two wheels during this 10 day tour. This tour is a great way to explore the beautiful fields and forests and get away from the regular tourist attractions.

Begin your tour in Gdansk and admire its colourful and decorative architecture, shaped by a rich history. Cycling along the Baltic Sea road and climb the lighthouse and admire Baltic’s unspoiled nature.

The highlight of your tour is the Slowinski National Park, one of the most beautiful nature reserve in Poland, where the world famous dunes can be found.

This tour includes also paddling on the Drawa River, a beautiful adventure in truly scenic and unspoilt nature.

Day 1

THE MEDIEVAL GDANSK

Bicycle free day.

Individual arrival to your hotel in Gdańsk, where your Nature Travel guide will meet you at 3 p.m. After that, we have a guided tour of the Old Town (about 3 hours) and a welcome dinner in a restaurant. Accommodation in a hotel in Gdańsk.

Day 2

LIGHTHOUSE AT THE BALTIC SEA

30 km by bike, 1.5 hours by train, 4 km by foot, 25 km by bus.

In the morning we leave Gdańsk by train. Near Lębork, we start cycling towards the Baltic sea on quiet, asphalt roads. The tour leads through picturesque villages and ends in Stilo. There, we walk (ca. 4 km) to the lighthouse, where you can climb to the top and enjoy views of the Baltic’s unspoilt nature. We reach our hotel by bus. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Łeba.

Day 3

WANDERING DUNES IN LEBA

16 km by bike.

On today’s programme we have a trip to the Słowiński National Park, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Poland. We get to the world-famous wandering dunes by bike and then climb onto the highest dune (40 m high), a sort of desert-on-the-sea experience with a fantastic view of the Łebsko lake and the Baltic. And also a perfect place to have a swim. Accommodation and dinner as on day two.

Day 4

KASHUBIAN LAKE DISTRICT

50 km by bike, 110 km by bus.

In the morning, we have a bus transfer to the Kashubian Lake District. In Wdzydze Kiszewskie, we tour the open-air-museum of Kashubian culture. Today’s bike trip begins after a picnic. We cycle to Bytów through beautiful fields and forests, passing many pristine lakes. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Bytów.

Day 5

THE KASHUBIAN MUSEUM

45 km by bike.

In the morning, there is a tour of the Kashubian museum in Bytów. After that, we enjoy a beautiful bike trip in the town’s surroundings (hills, lakes, fields, and forests). Accommodation and dinner as on day four.

Day 6

POMERANIAN SWITZERLAND: LAKES AND FORESTS

65 km by bike, 30 km by bus.

After a short bus transfer, we start cycling on a beautiful, quiet road through Sporysz and Czarne, towards Szczecinek. The tour leads through many small villages, where it is almost as if time has stopped. Before dinner, we can go swimming in Trzesiecko lake. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Szczecinek.

Day 7

DRAWSKO LAKE DISTRICT

60 km by bike.

Today, we ride through the undulating terrain of the Drawsko Lake District. Our destination is the tourist centre of Czaplinek, beautifully situated between two lakes: Drawsko and Czaplino. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel near Czaplinek.

Day 8

A PADDLING TOUR ON THE DRAWA RIVER

15 km by bike, 70 km by bus.

After a short bike trip and bus transfer, we go paddling on the Drawa river (about 2,5 – 3 hours) – a beautiful adventure in truly scenic, unspoilt nature. From time to time, we have to dodge some trees and branches lying crosswise in the river, but no additional skills are required to paddle on this 90 cm-deep river. In the evening we enjoy a bonfire/barbecue (weather permitting). Accommodation and dinner as on day seven.

Day 9

AROUND A LAKE

40 km by bike, 130 km by bus.

In the morning, we have our last cycling tour in the picturesque scenery around Siecino lake. After that in the afternoon we go to Szczecin by bus. Accommodation and dinner in a hotel in Szczecin.

Day 10

END OF THE TOUR

After breakfast, we have a guided city tour of Szczecin, the capital of western Pomerania (about 2 hours). The tour ends around noon.
