The sailing ship Fryderyk Chopin - the world's largest brig in service - has now docked on the banks of London's River Thames, at St Katherine's Pier in the heart of the capital. She'll be in the city for 10 days packed with events devoted to her namesake, the great 19th century Polish pianist and composer.
To honour the famous composer Fryderyk Chopin's bicentenary this year, a tall ship named after the great man will arrive in London in just a few days' time.
In recent years Poland's appeal as a tourist destination has undergone a massive transformation. The ship was officially welcomed to London by the mayors of Tower Hamlets and Havering, the director of the Mayor's Thames Festival, and a host of British officials, artists and VIPs.
